Practice With Help on Demand!

We hear time and again how hard it is to fit practice in.  The reasons are as varied as the people, but some of them are things like lack of space, don't have the music, need a formal time, etc.  Also, most people experience a period of needing reminders after learning things for the first time.  Finally, many students are just looking to keep dancing with their new friends.  For all those reasons, we've introduced a one hour supervised practice.  Here's how it works:

We play music for each of the dances listed below in groups of two (i.e., two waltzes, then two Rumbas, etc).  During the dances we're available for questions, demonstrations, etc.  Whatever problems you want to solve from stuff you've already learned.  The second dance in each group comes in especially handy when the time of the first dance was used to, for instance, refresh memory on how to do something.  If you don't know a dance we'll even teach you the first step of it so you can see if you want to learn that dance!

We offer the following dances in each Supervised Practice:

  • Waltz
  • Rumba
  • Swing
  • Foxtrot
  • Tango
  • Cha-Cha

We may add additional dances depending on the crowd's desire.

Supervised Practice is sold in blocks of six one-hour lessons over a six week period.  Because of the nature of the class and the discounted price, we do not offer make-ups for missed classes.

Supervised Practice costs $40 per student.  That's only $6.67 per class!
